Class 2 Hiab Driver
Salary: £170 pe day
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 8 hours per day. Early mornings expected for delivery to site.

We are committed to delivering excellence to our clients, and to support our growth, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Hiab Driver to join our dynamic team.

Providing support to our Grounds Maintenance and Civils Divisions; delivering associated materials to site, unloading materials safely and providing support to the teams on the ground.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Class 2 Hiab Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to our sites using a lorry-mounted crane (Hiab). You will play a crucial role in the safe delivery of goods, ensuring goods are delivered on time and safely to various locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Operate a Class 2 vehicle with Hiab equipment to deliver and offload materials to various sites.

* Ensure all deliveries are made in accordance with health and safety regulations.

* Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.

* Secure loads properly and operate the Hiab crane safely and in accordance with company procedures.

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.

* Provide support to the teams at ground level.

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

* Current Hiab (Lorry Mounted Crane) certificate.

* Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.

* Previous experience in a similar role, with proficiency in operating Hiab cranes.

* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
