HR & Accounts Supervisor (Part-time)

We are seeking an HR & Accounts Supervisor to oversee key human resource functions and manage our company’s finances. The ideal candidate will be responsible for payroll, company benefits, employment duties and day-to-day bookkeeping.
Day to Day of the role:
- Oversee the Staff Holiday Calendar and maintain HR records.
- Manage the New Joiner process, including requesting references and overseeing Contracts of Employment.
- Administer monthly payroll, manage salaries and expenses, and handle annual increments.
- Administer the Bonus scheme and ensure timely payment of taxes to HMRC.
- Manage Company Benefits, including the pension scheme, statutory re-enrolment duties, and Group Life scheme administration.
- Oversee the company’s 121/appraisal process and act as an HR point of contact for team members, reporting any issues to the board.
- Provide administrative support to the Compliance Supervisor in delivering the training and competence scheme.
- Oversee Health & Safety aspects, including fire testing arrangements, DSE assessments, and Annual Risk Assessments.
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, invoice payments, and assist with the company year-end financial processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR and accounts supervision.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and employment law.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements.
- Competence in bookkeeping and financial management.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using HR and accounting software.
