Walker Cole International is seeking a Senior QC Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This full-time position is based in Reading, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both routine and non-routine quality control testing within a dynamic and expanding environment.

Key Responsibilities as the Senior QC Manager:

• Lead routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, bulk, and finished products using HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry techniques.
• Ensure testing activities are scheduled to meet production requirements according to the production plan.
• Manage environmental sampling and general laboratory maintenance, including equipment calibration.
• Lead and complete investigations related to LIs, OOS, and OOT.

To be successful in your application for the Senior QC Manager position, you will have the following expertise:

• Relevant experience in a QC laboratory, with a degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
• Industry experience with line management of teams of 3 people or more
• Experience in microbiological monitoring, COSHH assessment, and computerized laboratory management systems is desirable.
• Ability to deliver training and manage tasks to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
