About the Role: Are you a qualified primary school teacher with experience in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with SEN expertise to join a dynamic school in Bexley. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of primary school students, with a particular focus on those with SEN.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students with learning challenges such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other SEN.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation, confidence, and academic progress.
- Work closely with SENCOs, support staff, and parents to ensure each student’s needs are met and their progress is monitored.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to share best practices for SEN support.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methods for supporting diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- A commitment to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
