Store Manager | Charity Superstore | North West London | £28,500

Zachary Daniels are proud to be partnering with a charity retailer to lead their superstore in North West London. This is an exciting to join a store that has had a brand-new shop fit. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirt a commercial eye and a can-do attitude. We are looking for someone that wants to build a community around the store, drive footfall through events and creative marketing.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
• Manage a team of assistant managers on a day-to-day basis, involved in recruitment, probations 1:1s etc.
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to assist in the operation of the shop
• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve fundraising goals
• Maintain accurate financial records and manage the shop's budget to ensure profitability
• Maintain a positive relationship with donors, customers, and volunteers, and promote the shop's mission and purpose within the local community
• Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
• Plan and organise events and promotions to increase footfall and awareness of the shop
• Outstanding collaborative working ability with the manager and team of the on-site donation center.

SkilLs:

• Experienced in retail management, ideally in charity
• Previous experience in managing a team of employees or volunteers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of volunteers
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• A committed and flexible self-starter who is adaptable and able to work independently
