Warehouse and Dispatch Co-ordinator

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated warehouse coordinator to join their friendly, growing team to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of customers' orders. You will operate from our Warehouse in Ellesmere Port to pick, pack and quality check appropriate orders.

As a Warehouse and Dispatch Co-ordinator, you must possess a “can-do attitude” and have a keen eye for detail. We expect you have extremely high standards when it comes to the quality of orders being sent out to customers. With multiple orders being sent out a day as well as inbound stock deliveries coming in, the environment is fast paced so the ability to multitask and be able to think on your feet is essential.

The successful candidate must be reliable, enthusiastic and comfortable working in a busy fast-moving environment.

There will be potential for the right person for this role to lead to a Team Leader position.

Responsibilities include but not limited to

* Receiving and checking all inbound stock orders daily

* Locate the correct products in the warehouse according to the order

* Think on your feet to retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy and completion of each order

* Ensuring all orders are packaged to a very high standard

* Wrap orders with different packaging solutions depending on the type of product

* Print orders and packing labels form the order management system

* Keep records of completed orders

* Carry out any admin duties deemed necessary for departmental operations

* Report any missing or faulty items to your manager in a timely manner

* Arrange and monitor to completion deliveries, collections and returns on behalf of the business

* Adhere to Health and Safety polices and quality standards

Skills and experience

* Proven experience as a hard-working individual, preferably in a similar environment

* Able to read and write in English to a good standard

* Basic Computer skills

* Great attention to detail

* Diligent and punctual

* Good physical strength and stamina

* Have ambition and a real passion for what you do

* Flexible working approach

* Experience of listing items for sale on eBay desirable

Working hours

* Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, 30 minutes unpaid lunch
