Panel Wire Person 

Pertemps are currently looking for a Panel Wire Person to join our client based in Woore, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical aptitude, a great attitude, and a willingness to learn. You'll be assembling and wiring control panels based on wiring diagrams and parts lists, working closely with our design and test departments to ensure quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities of this Pal Wire Person role:

Assemble and wire control panels to wiring diagrams and parts lists following company standards
Follow parts lists and complete progress sheets to ensure accurate job tracking
Liaise with Test Engineers, Stores, and Design teams to resolve design/manufacture anomalies
Keep accurate time sheets for each job
Identify and support improvements to company procedures
Train others once competent
Observe and maintain the company's Health & Safety procedures
Be flexible to meet business needs and support in other areas when requiredSkills required for this Wire Panel Person role:

Proficient in reading and interpreting schematic diagrams
Experience in control panel production or a similar environment
Skilled in cable making and loom assembly
Confident in forming cables and recognising components
Able to assemble control panel backplates
Strong team player with good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Technical qualifications in production, manufacturing, or engineering would be desirable
Understanding of control system functionality and componentsWhat this Panel Wire Person role offers:

30 days holiday (including statutory), increasing to 33 days after one year's service
Workshop hours typically 08:00-16:30; office opens 08:00-18:00
