Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Darwen, Blackburn
Salary: Up to £35,000 + Company Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time | PermanentAgility Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing company, for an Assistant Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of management accounts
Maintain accurate stock records and valuation
Prepare financial reports and support budgeting & forecasting
Conduct cost analysis and variance reporting
Assist with month-end and year-end procedures
Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years' experience in the manufacturing industry - essential
Experience with stock management and costing - essential
AAT Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) - essential
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and attention to detail
