Job Advert: Specialist Paramedic - GP Surgery
Position: Specialist Paramedic
Type: Permanent, 1 Day per Week
Salary: £15,000 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Start Date: ASAP
Required: Car driver!
Location: Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments and triage for urgent appointments.
Provide definitive treatment or referrals as needed.
Educate patients on self-care and general healthcare practices.
Perform health checks, ECGs, and collect pathology specimens.
Support anticipatory care and end-of-life plans.
Communicate effectively with colleagues across the healthcare network.

Qualifications:

Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience as a Paramedic with relevant clinical skills.
(Optional) Membership of the College of Paramedics Voluntary Register.
