Field Senior Service Engineer (Ireland)

A leading global manufacturer of high-quality packaging machines is seeking an experienced Field Senior Service Engineer to join their team in Ireland. Specialising in blister machines, carton packaging machines, and packaging lines, the company is known for providing customised solutions across a variety of industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, and contact lenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, commissioning, and validation of blister and carton machine lines.
Attending to breakdowns and performing maintenance visits.
Carrying out electrical upgrades to ensure packaging machines meet industry standards.
Offering a full after-sales service, including production support, performance analysis, and operator training.
Working with advanced camera inspection systems, online printing systems, labelling machines, and end-of-line equipment (banding, wrapping, case packing, palletizing).

Requirements:

Electrical qualifications with solid mechanical skills.
Strong knowledge of PLC-controlled machinery.
Flexibility to work abroad for several weeks a year (e.g., Germany)
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Experience as a Service Engineer within the packaging or similar industries is a plus.
