We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper / management accountant to manage bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients.

Based in Farnham with hybrid working options after induction, this role involves both client interaction and team management, along with hands-on bookkeeping as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping and reconciliations for a portfolio of clients.
• Prepare management accounts and month-end reviews.
• Review client entries, advising on corrections and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare, review, and file VAT returns, including liaising with HMRC.
• Provide client training and occasional onsite visits to resolve bookkeeping issues.

• 2-3 years’ experience, ideally in an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong experience with Xero (or similar software).
• Knowledge of VAT, CIS, and management accounts.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and data entry skills.
• Experience with CCH software is a plus.
