IT Purchaser/Procurement

* £24,000 + £1,000 bonus + Benefits

We are seeking a process aware buyer with experience of purchasing and storing (IT) equipment. Working in a small team you will have full responsibility for the negotiation, ordering, collection and delivery of IT consumables and peripherals.

We'd like you to have existing experience of purchasing and an interest in IT. The role is due to promotion into the IT helpdesk team so there is a career opportunity should you wish to develop and get involved with IT support and IT projects. We need you to be capable of the following:

review agreements and agree contracts, check purchase orders and invoices, liaise with suppliers and build relationships with strategic partners.

In line with your purchasing duties will be the responsibility of updating warranties and software agreements, maintaining and keeping check of stock, managing starters/leavers and all asset management.

This is an excellent opportunity to widen your IT buying / IT equipment purchasing skills in an expanding organisation in the education services sector.
