About Us:Academics are currently recruiting for a fantastic mainstream Primary School who are setting up the establishment of a new Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP) for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and are seeking a passionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.

Role Overview: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - CroydonThe successful candidate will work closely with their new ELP, providing support to children with ASD starting with early years. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young Children and contribute to the development of the ELP.

Key Responsibilities: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Croydon

  • Support teachers in the delivery of tailored learning programs for students with ASD.
  • Assist individual students or small groups, promoting engagement and understanding of the curriculum.
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive environment for all children, fostering their social and emotional development.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
  • Collaborate with other staff and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Support the implementation of behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions.
  • Ability to commute to Croydon

Qualifications and Skills: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Croydon

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
