Johnson Controls have this amazing opportunity for a National Service Sales Manager for our Heating, Ventilation, Air conditioning (HVAC) team, who are part of the Building Technologies and Solutions business.

The National Service Sales Manager position is an exciting Sales leadership role that reports directly into the UK&I Head of Sales (HVAC) business.

The role will focus on managing a team of dedicated Service Sales Executives. The route to market is direct to end users and via Facilities Management companies. You will have the opportunity to coach, guide & shape the existing team to win new business and expand existing contracts across other JCI service offerings.

How you will do it


As National Service Sales Manager you will be able to function independently and be growth focused. You will understand the skills and development opportunities within your team and support them to hit and exceed sales targets. You will have the ability to build both internal and external relationships that can develop and expand your portfolio. Through your previous Sales Management experience and successful track record you will support your direct reports to identify new customers and additional opportunities within our existing UK wide contract base. You will provide forecasting to the Head of Sales and regular performance updates. In this role you will work with other Sales and Operational leaders to develop and execute the Service Sales strategy.

What we look for

  • Previous Service Sales Management experience

  • Strong coaching skills

  • Track record of Service contract growth

  • Strong communicator with a proven track record of developing sales professionals within a commercial environment

  • Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellency in verbal and written communication skills

  • CRM experience

  • Preferred background in FM
