About the Role

We're on the lookout for a skilled Surveyor to join our commercial team, bringing valuable experience from sectors such as education, leisure, residential, or commercial units. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused professional to support the delivery of high-quality projects across a variety of sectors, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Support the full commercial lifecycle of construction projects, from tender through to final account

*

Assist in preparing cost plans, budgets, and subcontractor packages

*

Carry out valuations, cost reporting, and financial forecasting

*

Manage variations, change control, and payment applications

*

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures

*

Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and consultants

*

Contribute to risk management, value engineering, and procurement strategies

*

Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes

What You'll Bring

Proven experience working in one or more of the following sectors:

Education (schools, academies)

*

Leisure (sports centres, community hubs)

*

Residential (housing schemes, apartments)

*

Commercial (offices, light industrial units, retail)

*

Experience working with a main contractor or reputable subcontractor

*

Good understanding of standard construction contracts (JCT, D&B, etc.)

*

Strong numerical, communication, and analytical skills

*

Ability to manage multiple packages or small to mid-sized projects

*

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

*
