Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Services Technician to oversee the service and maintenance of critical plant systems within a data centre. This role plays a key part in ensuring that critical equipment is maintained to the highest standards, ensuring operational efficiency. The position offers room for growth, with opportunities for additional certifications and progression within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and servicing of critical plant equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, DFUs, CRAC units etc within the data centre.

* Respond to reactive maintenance calls and troubleshoot any issues with the critical systems.

* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company safety and operational standards.

* Liaise with other team members and management to ensure the continuous smooth operation of the plant.

* Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment meets health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience in critical plant maintenance, preferably within a data centre or similar environment.

* Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.

* Strong understanding of critical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment.

* Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

* HVAP certification is desirable, with a £1k allowance upon approval.

Additional Information:

* Starting salary of £47,500, rising to £49,500 after successful completion of probation.

* £1k HVAP allowance upon onsite approval.

* £1.5k performance-based bonus paid annually.
