About the Role:
Our client, a successful and established engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of interesting, unique, and challenging projects across various sectors, including sport and leisure, healthcare, education, workplace, residential, and more.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting senior staff, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to the continued growth of the company. You will have the opportunity to manage and deliver high-quality designs and engineering solutions, while also overseeing the project lifecycle, from initial design through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Support senior staff and contribute to the design and delivery of structural engineering projects.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, sharing your expertise and helping to develop their skills.
Contribute to business development efforts and actively support the growth of the company's brand and client base.
Undertake site visits and produce detailed engineering reports.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and client relationships, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Deliver high-quality structural designs, drawings, and reports, working with materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, timber, and more.
Design foundations, drainage, and soil structures in line with project requirements.
Apply relevant codes and standards, including Eurocodes, British Standards, and Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations.Skills and Experience Required:

A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is essential.
Chartered status (required).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, TEKLA, and Revit software.
Extensive experience in designing and delivering structural engineering projects across various sectors.
Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles, materials, and design codes (Eurocodes, British Standards, CDM regulations).
Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and client relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Benefits:
