Position: Social Worker - Safeguarding Children Team

About the Role:

Ackerman Pierce is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Children Team in Bolton. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within the community. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families in need.
Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
Carry out statutory visits to children and young people in accordance with relevant legislation and policies.
Manage a caseload of complex child protection cases, ensuring all interventions are child-focused and promote their welfare.
Work closely with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Prepare reports and present evidence in court when required.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work.
Registered with Social Work England.
Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
Strong assessment and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency framework.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
