Based within a Secondary School Design and Technology Department
Design and Technology Technician
£115-£120 per day
Long term, Full-time
Starting ASAP
Based in the London Borough of GreenwichDesign and Technology Technician Key Responsibilities

Mixing and making up solutions for lessons
Assembling the apparatus for demonstrations according to lesson plans
Safe and procedure following waste disposal
Trial new activities and experiments before being put into practice within the classroom
Maintenance of equipment
Carry out risk assessments and follow health and safety procedures
& much more!Perfect Design and Technology Technician

A Design and Technology Graduate with experience with the following
Techsoft Design V3
Experience with Adobe
H & S Certified (desirable)
A good understanding of equipment safety
Knowledge of recent curriculum developments at GCSE and A-Level
Great communication skills to liaise with pupils, teachers and other technicians
Brilliant Attention to detail
Aspiring Design and Technology Teachers!
Must have a Design and Technology related degree, 2.1 or above from a reputable universityAbout the School
