We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised manufacturing business, considered to be the leader in its field. Salary from £30,000 per annum depending on shifts. The role of Credit Controller is based in Greenford.

Working hours for Credit Controller:

  • 09:00 - 17:30
  • Start times are flexible so if you'd prefer to start at 08.00, that's fine!

Pay:

  • £30,000 - £33,000, depending on experience
  • This is a temp to perm role. You will start on a temporary contract, and on successful completion of a 12 week probationary period, you will be awarded a permanent contract
  • 10% performance related bonus payable on achieving your KPIs

Main Duties of Credit Controller:

  • Managing a ledger of circa £1.5m per month
  • Chase all overdue accounts for a ledger of approximately 500 accounts
  • Establish relationships internally and externally to ensure timely and effective debt collection
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Respond to copy requests
  • Set up/update account contacts generated from new and existing accounts
  • Check customer credit ratings
  • Apply credit terms to accounts via Defacto (ERP)
  • Update Customer Invoice Portal Platforms - Upload invoices
  • Assist Manager where required depending on workflow

Experience and knowledge required:

  • Experience in credit controller to hit the ground running
  • Solid finance background
  • Ideally used EDI (portals) for invoice processing
  • Proficient in relevant Microsoft tools especially Outlook and Excel
  • GCSE pass in Math and English language
  • AAT or equivalent working experience
  • Knowledge of filing systems
