Kerridge Commercial Systems is the leading specialist supplier of fully integrated ERP systems and related services to niche vertical markets in the wholesale and retail distribution, logistics and service sectors.
As part of our growth plans we are looking to hire a Sales Executive for our Automotive Catalogue Data products.
The Role
- To generate and manage leads for new customers.
- To maintain existing relationships with assigned accounts assigned and to grow those relationships and understand the customer needs through attendance of events, engagement and problem solving.
- To provide the right solution at the right time to our customers and adapt to their needs.
Ideal knowledge and experience
- 5 years+ Automotive experience
- Ideal candidate will have previous automotive experience in a Product Management role responsible for Product lifecycle for OE or aftermarket brands
- Cataloguing of the Product data
- Knowledge of vehicles
- Knowledge of MAM/TecDoc and other aftermarket catalogues
- Sales and marketing experience in the automotive aftermarket
- Used to achieving and exceeding targets
- Advantageous to have basic understanding of what these are: API's, SQL, Python, VRM
Other requirements:
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to sell into different levels of a business
- Confident in presenting to groups of people
- Regular travel in the UK and occasionally further afield
- Good negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of CRM systems
- Organisation skills are essential
- Ability to work on own initiative
