An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager fluent in Japanese and English focused on supporting expats who have recently moved, ensuring they are supported with the move accordingly as well as advising on immigration and tax.Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining the HRIS system
• Managing the new starter process including onboarding, setting up inductions and setting up bank accounts for expats, ensuring they are set up accordingly
• Leading and managing all payroll related matters for expats
• Managing all transfers accordingly from employees immigrating into the country, ensuring all visa and tax details are noted correctly and in line with local legislation
• Supporting on ad-hoc projects and tasks including audit checks

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Japanese an advantage but not necessary 
• Previous experience in a global mobility role, or a similar position where you were responsible for managing employees immigrating
• Strong understanding of immigration and tax law in the UK
• Previous experience in a HR Generalist position
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
