If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high profile railway client who are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator on a 6 month contract basis paying up to £15 per hour based in Birmingham.

We are recruiting for a Procurement Administrator to assist our client's procurement function in the processing of requisitions, generations of purchase orders and expediting of operations expenditure supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase requisitions ensuring they are in accordance with delegated authority levels prior to the generations of purchase orders.
Produce and control the administrations of uniforms, vehicles, and mobile phones, managing the control of stock.
Ensure accurate production of purchase orders to colleagues.
Assist in the preparation of periodic management information summaries relating to orders places and if applicable purchasing card transactions.
Assist in maintaining supplier electronic catalogues within the purchasing system.
Provide support to local purchasing users as required.
Any other duties commensurate with grade and post as required.
What we Require?
Working knowledge of wider procurement legislation and processes.
Experience of procurement systems including e-sourcing/e-tendering
Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
Previous knowledge of Railway operating environment (Desirable)
