Qualified Social Worker - Fostering - Lambeth - £32ph

Mbi Medical are pleased to be working with the London Borough of Lambeth. We are on the look out for a Qualified Social Worker to work in the Fostering support team.

What We Do

- This is a great opportunity to work with an established team and within a community of Fosster Carer's.

- We provide foster placements to children and young people alike. We aim to offer an outstanding level of support to our Foster Carers and our children in care.

-We provide a number of different services including fostering for children aged 0-18 and Parent and Child Placements.

Responsibilities

- Be responsible for a manageable caseload, working with a dedicated team to improve the lives of the children in care.

- Managing the recruitment, assessment, approval and continued support of Foster Carers.

- Supporting Foster Carers in the delivery of their caring role

- Supervising Foster carers in accordance with Fostering Regulations.

- Ensuring that children's care and development needs are met within placements by undertaking necessary placement management, planning and intervention
