Day Shift Warehouse Packing Supervisor

£13-£14 per hour

We're working in partnership with a print business who specialise in the marketing and communications side of the industry.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for someone to come in at supervisory level to oversee their manual hand fulfilment area of the business, this team are responsible for the end of the print production process and carry out a variety of print finishing and packing duties, so experience and knowledge of supervising goods out, warehousing, print finishing and packing is highly advantageous.  
Within this role, this person will be responsible for coordinating employees in high-quality manual hand fulfilment services, including various print finishing, and packing tasks.

The Role

- Understand job orders and request necessary materials to complete tasks.
- Manage and instruct employees on various tasks to fulfil works orders.
- Maximize efficiency and formulate storage plans.
- Review and ensure accuracy of KPI paperwork.
- Maintain reliable attendance and motivate employees.
- Attend training and complete attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety practices.
- Coordinate with other supervisors/managers.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Adhere to Company policies and adjust work schedules as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, including stock counts.
- Train employees on work and policies.
- Perform other associated duties as assigned by the manager.

The Person

- Experienced up to supervisory level in either a warehouse, goods in/out, packing or print finishing environment (3-5 years)
- Capable of motivating and instructing a team of workers to ensure tasks are fulfilled within set timeframes
- A confident communicator with excellent spoken and written English language skills
- FLT licence (desirable but not essential)
- Computer literate and capable user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Salary & Benefits
An hourly rate of up to £14 per hour is available for this position, based on experience.
The shift pattern is day shift Monday to Friday, plus benefits, including 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, on site parking,
