The businesses is rooted in the Wilmslow area, and we are looking for a talented and motivated Management Accountant to join our team. If you are passionate about finance and eager to make a significant impact in a small business environment, this role offers an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to our continued success.Job Description:As a Management Accountant, you will be essential to our financial operations, providing accurate financial information and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with our management team to ensure the financial health and efficiency of our businesses.Key Responsibilities:* Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.* Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in business decision-making.* Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.* Process Improvement: Oversee and enhance financial processes and controls.* Liaison: Work with external accountants on year-end financial statements and tax compliance.* Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity for operations.* Strategy Development: Assist in creating financial strategies and business plans.* Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.Qualifications & Experience:* Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA, ACA * Experience: Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally within a small business environment.* Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Proficiency in Sage and Excel.
