Position: Freight Operations Administrator

Location: Witham, Essex

Salary: up to £28,000

Hours: Mon - Friday 9am-17:30pm

Due to continued growth plans for 2024 and beyond we are now hiring a Freight Operations Administrator to join our dynamic team in Witham, Essex.

Freight Operations Administrator Position:

We now have a vacancy for an operational administrator with freight forwarding or logistics experience to join a team handling groupage trailers to various European destinations.

Main Duties

Help to plan Export Groupage trailers.
Responsible for monthly P&L on designated service(s).
Develop key service relationships with customers and overseas agents to provide an efficient and effective service.
Choosing the most effective and profitable means of transportation when dealing with several agents in the same country
Quotations for customers, negotiating the best possible rate for the company and ensuring that exporting trailers is maximised.
Ensuring appropriate transportation is used for goods to be transported
To ensure good internal communication between key departments, customer handling, Transport and warehouse.
Provide completed manifest to warehouse
Complying with all Exportation Documentation
Ensuring good Geographic knowledge of the country you are servicing.
Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently
Ensuring site and customer objectives are achieved
