Role: Part-Qualified Accountant

Location: City of London

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + study support & benefits

Robert Half are currently working with a boutique venture capital firm based in central London.

They are looking to hire a talented Part-Qualified Accountant to join their high-performing finance team.

This role will be hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office.

Role

As the company is small Part-Qualified Accountant role has exposure to a variety of responsibilities across the business; working closely with the Head of Finance.

It is a great role in a company that really invests in their staff! It will suit an individual looking to study an accounting qualification and a true interest in the VC space

Key duties include:

• Financial reporting.
• Fund accounting.
• Corporate accounting - AP/AR/Reconciliations.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Financial and investment modelling.
• Portfolio management.

Profile

The ideal profile for this Part-Qualified Accountant role, should have the following attributes:

• 2+ years accounting experience within the financial services sector.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero preferred) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with financial modelling is a plus.
• Studying an accounting qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary & Benefits Package

£35,000 - £40,000 - salary is dependent on experience.
