Robert Half is working with a fast-growing, award-winning business in Farnborough looking for an experienced and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within their dynamic finance department. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their financial reporting, driving strategic decision-making, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management Accounts: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Private Equity Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to private equity shareholders, providing insights into company performance.
• Statutory Accounts: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of statutory accounts across multiple legal entities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical accounting guidance to your team, fostering their professional growth.
• Accounting Records: Ensure all financial records are accurate and reflect all transactions.
• Tax and Compliance: Oversee tax compliance across all entities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in collaboration with third-party providers.
• Treasury Compliance: Ensure quarterly reporting to banking providers, maintaining covenant compliance.
• Billing Support: Lead a business analyst responsible for financial corrections within billing systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Team Management: Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts and accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional Qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, with audit experience, preferably within a Big 4 firm, though not essential.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of technical accounting, statutory accounts, and management reporting.
• Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or similar accounting packages is a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and developing a team.
• Industry Experience: Experience within the SaaS industry is preferred but not essential.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting, with strong Excel skills.
• Proactivity: Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• AI Experience: Experience with AI platforms like Co-Pilot or Chat-GPT is a plus.
