FM Search & Select are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading FM provider, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial sites in the Manchester region.

You will be part of a skilled and dedicated team responsible for ensuring high standards of compliance, safety, and service delivery across various client premises, including offices, public buildings, and light industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas system

*

Diagnose and repair faults on boilers, heating systems, and associated plant equipment

*

Ensure all works are completed in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and health & safety procedures

*

Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams

*

Complete all required documentation and service reports accurately and in a timely manner

*

Participate in the on-call rota as required

What We're Looking For

*

Recognised qualifications in Commercial Gas (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A)

*

Proven experience in a similar role within facilities management or building services

*

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a mobile team

*

Additional HVAC or multi-skilled experience desirable but not essential
