MEPH Quantity Surveyor

Location: Eastern Anglia

A leading company within the building services sector is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking MEPH Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in the Eastern Region (Cambridge or Northampton offices). This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to play a key role in the financial management of diverse projects.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of assigned project packages, working closely with the Senior Commercial Manager and Project Manager. Key responsibilities include:

Managing Quantity Surveying activities for projects valued at £7M+

Compiling and submitting monthly applications

Costing and agreeing project variation accounts

Preparing and presenting Project CVRs in monthly meetings

Negotiating and preparing sub-contract order documents

Valuing and raising monthly sub-contract payment notifications and Pay Less Notices

Overseeing credit control on projects

The Person:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Recognised qualification in an MEP building-related discipline

Proactive and diligent approach with forward-thinking capabilities

Excellent communication skills at all levels

Structured and detail-oriented mindset

Strong commercial awareness
