A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for experienced fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on a large commercial project, carrying out full fire door refurbishments on a live and occupied building. All materials will be on site and lifts are available for transporting doors between floors in the building.

The successful candidate will have:

* At least two year's experience working with fire doors

* A strong background in carpentry and joinery

* Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance

* NVQ or equivalent in carpentry

* Experience installing fire doors and frames

* Own tools and transport

* Experience with using Fieldwire to record and evidence works

Roles and responsibilities

* Installing and carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors

* Complete works in line with the manufacture's specification

* Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately

* Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work

* Liaise with customers and members of the general public

What's on offer?

* Fire door installations and remedial works to a large commercial building in Cardiff centre

* £220.00 per day based on 8 hrs worked

* Parking receipts reimbursed on a weekly basis

This project is expected to start early April and is anticipated to last at least 10 weeks.
