Jackson Hogg are proud to be exclusively supporting a specialist manufacturing and assembly business in the Ilminster area with a Quality and Compliance Manager position, reporting directly into the MD.

Quality and Compliance Manager Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all aspects of Quality and Compliance, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.

* Oversee the maintenance, and continuous improvement of ISO9001 and ISO14001 management systems, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with the latest standards.

* Proactively address and resolve the quality-related issues on a day to day basis, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for correspondence with end customers and suppliers, both domestically and internationally, ensuring clear and professional communication.

* Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints, utilising root cause analysis and other methodologies to prevent recurrence.

* Conduct regular audits of processes against the internal management system, providing comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations for improvement.

* Champion the organisation's commitment to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimisation and implementing best practices across all quality-related activities.

Quality and Compliance Manager Requirements

* Experience with process management, CRM and ERP systems

* Previous experience in quality focused role

* Experience with ISO9001 and ISO14001

* Proficient auditing and compliance experience.

* Engineering background, ideally Manufacturing, specifically working in Quality and Compliance roles.

* Excellent report writing skills, demonstrating clarity and consistency throughout.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to efficiently meet deadlines.

* Influential and customer focused, with a background in customer service.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

* Desirable - Experience within product management.

* Full Clean UK Driving Licence with ability to travel to group sites when required
