HR Business Partner Responsibilities:

  • Change Management: Lead and implement change initiatives aligned with business priorities.
  • Global Collaboration: Work with group entities globally to support and align HR strategies.
  • HR Advisory: Provide expert advice on HR and organisational development issues, including organisational design and performance management.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Talent & Development: Lead talent management initiatives such as onboarding, talent reviews, and training programs.
  • Talent Attraction & Onboarding: Shape talent attraction strategies and streamline the onboarding process to enhance the candidate experience.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive engagement activities, including bi-annual surveys and action planning.
  • People Policies: Contribute to the development of practical, effective HR policies aligned with business needs.
  • Performance & Reward: Support the pay review process and develop reward strategies in line with business goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a small HR team, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives.

About You

We are seeking an experienced HR professional who can navigate a complex, matrixed structure while delivering HR services on a global scale. You will be a strong relationship-builder with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work autonomously. Key skills include:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in HR business partnering, change management, and employee relations.
  • A passion for shaping talent attraction strategies and delivering people-centric solutions.
  • Proven team leadership experience, with a track record of developing and managing teams.
  • Coaching qualification and experience coaching managers and teams to drive performance.
  • Ability to operate globally and partner with cross-functional teams across different regions.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • A challenger mindset, always seeking to improve processes and add value.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Tyne & Wear.
