We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Clients dynamic team. Our client specializes in designing and manufacturing bespoke machinery for the wire & cable and paper industries.

What You'll Do:

* Precision Assembly: Assemble complex mechanical components with precision and accuracy.

* Engineering Drawings: Interpret engineering drawings to understand and follow assembly procedures.

* Tool Proficiency: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently.

* Material Expertise: Work with various materials, including mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

* On-Site Installation: Occasionally travel to customer sites to install and commission machinery.

* Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing innovative solutions.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

What You'll Need:

* Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical fitter.

* Technical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.

* Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively.

* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise assembly.

* Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various physical positions.

* Teamwork: Collaborative approach to work and ability to work well with others.
