Job Title: Risk Assessor - Air & Water Quality

Salary: £27,000 - £35,000 + Benefits

About the Role

A leading provider of air and water hygiene services is seeking an experienced Risk Assessor to join their growing team. This role involves conducting Legionella and Ventilation risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry regulations, working closely with clients across Huddersfield.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments (L8 & HSG274) and Ventilation Surveys (BS EN 15780 / TR19)
• Ensure statutory compliance and benchmark against industry standards
• Liaise with clients to develop action plans for non-compliance issues
• Arrange and maintain specialist equipment, ensuring functionality and calibration
• Provide technical support and guidance to the surveying team
• Conduct competency audits on team members and deliver Legionella Awareness Training
• Carry out site surveys, temperature monitoring, and service inspections
• Produce schematic drawings using Visio

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Legionella Risk Assessments and Ventilation Surveys
• Strong knowledge of L8, HSG274, BS EN 15780 & TR19 compliance
• Ability to build strong client relationships and provide expert guidance
• Experience in training delivery and competency auditing (desirable)
• Self-motivated and willing to travel across the UK
