About the Role:

Our Automotive RCV client is looking for an experienced HGV Fabricator/Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform repairs and servicing of HGVs to VOSA standards.

* Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring quality checks are completed.

* Conduct body and chassis repairs as required.

* Maintain vehicle compliance with Department of Transport specifications.

* Identify and complete additional repair work efficiently and to a high standard.

* Ensure all vehicle maintenance is carried out according to schedule.

* Complete accurate job sheets and timesheets in a timely manner.

* Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.

What We're Looking For:

✔ Experience as an HGV Fabricator, Welder, or Technician.
✔ Strong knowledge of HGV repairs, servicing, and compliance.
✔ Ability to prepare vehicles for MOT tests.
✔ Welding and fabrication skills (MIG/TIG preferred).
✔ Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
✔ Strong commitment to health & safety regulations.
✔ Full UK driving licence (HGV licence preferred but not essential)
