Sterling Williams are currently working with a cross border payments & remittance institution who are actively hiring for a Compliance Analyst on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract basis (likely to turn permanent thereafter)

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst who will be part of the global compliance team and take on duties supporting senior management. Relevant experience in the financial services (ideally from within a Payments, FinTech, EMI, or Digital challenger) AML, KYC and Customer Onboarding is a must.

This role will sit between £40,000 - £50,000 pa plus benefits; and has an expectation of 3 days per week in a London based office

Responsibilities will include:

• Perform AML and KYC checks and ongoing monitoring for existing corporate clients.
• Identifying and verifying potential corporate client's identity (includes data collection, identification, verification, politically exposed person/sanctions lists check)
• Complete client due diligence searches
• Maintaining KYC records
• Responsible for verification of client data to be added to the internal systems to be in line with client documentation.
• Manage case load and take ownership by tracking with business owners to ensure cases complete in a timely manner
• Liaise with business owners to clarify, investigate, escalate and resolve issues as they arise
• Monitor and manage the KYC mailbox
• Completing ad hoc compliance tasks as required.
• Minimum of 2-3 year’s experience.
