Production Manager - Greater Manchester

The role
* Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
* QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
* Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
* Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
* Hands on involvement for health and safety across all departments.
* Identify training requirements across all departments.
* Hands on responsibility for annual programme of internal and external audits.
* Manage maintenance and servicing for all departments.
The profile
* NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
* Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and support.
* Must be able to plan and organise activities of self to achieve balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
* Must be able to communicate effectively.
* Practical experience of medium batch production process.
* Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
* Confident problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
* A hands-on leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves when needed.
