The Role:
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students across various subjects, providing both one-to-one and group support to ensure they succeed. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, helping to maintain a positive and focused classroom atmosphere. Your ability to foster strong relationships with students and staff will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students in the classroom
• Help students with their academic and personal development, ensuring they feel encouraged and supported
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to the teacher and adjusting support as needed
• Foster strong, positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other school staff
• Assist with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and classroom displays
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) as required
• Help with preparation for lessons, and ensure resources are available for learning activities

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally with a background in KS2
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and experience in delivering it
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide support to students with varying needs
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a busy environment
• A proactive approach, with a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
• Available to start ASAP
