We’re working with a well-established, forward-thinking accountancy firm looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team in Bishop’s Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified accountant to take the lead on client audits and develop further in a collaborative, flexible working environment.

Role Responsibilities - Leading audits from planning to finalisation
- Preparing year-end accounts and draft tax computations
- Reviewing and coaching junior team members on audit fieldwork and documentation
- Managing client expectations and dealing with queries in a confident, professional manner
- Ensuring compliance with auditing and accounting standards (UK GAAP, FRS 102)
- Supporting managers and partners with ad hoc advisory and technical projects
- Contributing to the development of the team and promoting best practices

Required Skills - ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist level with relevant experience)
- Previous experience in an accountancy firm delivering audits to a variety of clients
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
- Familiarity with audit software - experience with Caseware is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
