Key Responsibilities:

Installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment within the water industry
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery
Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing necessary repairs or replacements
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient project delivery
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair works
Providing technical support and guidance to junior staff when required
Occasionally travelling to various sites within Derby and surrounding areas

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in mechanical fitting, preferably within the water sector
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Understanding of health and safety protocols and regulations
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Full UK driving licence
Relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field is advantageous
