Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a leading building services provider? This is an exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious, state-of-the-art research site in Oxford. This site is a hub of innovation, offering a modern and forward-thinking environment where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining cutting-edge facilities.You’ll be based at this impressive location, ensuring the seamless operation of its advanced systems and infrastructure. Working as part of a dedicated team, your role will involve planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response, helping to support the ongoing success of this world-class facility.Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.

Maintaining and servicing:

  • Single and three-phase power systems
  • Generators and UPS systems
  • Emergency lighting and fire alarms
  • HVAC systems, pumps, and motors
  • AC systems
  • Conducting water treatment tasks (e.g., tap temperatures, flushing, filters).
  • Keeping logbooks updated and ensuring statutory compliance.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualification in Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Apprentice-trained background (preferred).
  • Proven experience in building services maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
