Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Support Worker for a Local Authority Client based in North London.
In this role, you will provide direct support to families, helping them overcome challenges and access services that promote the well-being and development of children within an Early Help framework.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Provide direct support to families, assessing needs and delivering interventions to improve family well-being.
- Collaborate with professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive family support and services.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to case reviews to improve service delivery.
- Promote child safeguarding, welfare, and the delivery of community activities and workshops for families.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience providing support to families and children in social care or early help settings, including assessing needs and developing support plans.
- Knowledge of child safeguarding policies and procedures, with experience working collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
- Strong communication skills to build relationships with families, professionals, and stakeholders, and to deliver group activities and workshops.
- Experience in managing sensitive information, maintaining confidentiality, and working in children's services, particularly within children's centres or family support roles.
What's on offer:
Salary: £19+ph

Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week
