Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager with a background in Nuclear to be engaged on a permanent basis in Warrington, offering hybrid working.

Role and Responsibilities

• Working closely with the client lead PM to ensure the contract requirements are adhered to.

• Providing guidance on commercial and contract matters during delivery phase to Lead PM and client operations.

Contract commercial duties including:

• Lead in all contractual communications, attending stakeholder meetings as required;

• Oversight and input during project delivery phase; Management of contract variations, contract amendments; rate adjustments etc;

• Provide advice and support to the PM during project delivery

• Working with the PM, Cost Engineer and Project Controls to support the management of

financial aspects of the contract;

• Lead contract discussions with Suppliers and monitor supply chain performance;

• Support to contract KPIs including performance of key suppliers;

• Attend regular project team meetings and client contract meetings as required to provide

commercial/contract management representation and support.

• Support to tender activity as required.

Job Context & Challenges

• Working relationships with other client sites may be required, which necessitates some travel to those sites.

• NEC contract (ECC and PSC) knowledge is preferred.
