I am actively recruiting a specialist Charities Audit and Accounts Manager for an award winning Top 30 firm based in modern offices in Central London. They are offering primarily remote working, with an immpressive hybrid and agile working policy - allowing employees to enjoy complete autonomy and flexibility, choosing when to work from the office and when from home. This is a progressive role, with the current Charities Partner looking to hire future leaders in the business who can develop into Audit RI's.

Charities Audit and Accounts Manager Responsibilities:

  • Split of work include 70% audit and 30% accounts
  • Clients are house hold name Charities, and Not-for-Profit Businesses of various sizes including Education
  • Full responsibility for WIP control, billing procedures and debtor control
  • Lead, manage, develop and coach an effective audit team
  • Monitor and control the audit team - review the teams work,
  • Oversee and control completion of audit assignments including assessing controls, systems and planning
  • Manage client relationships and identify opportunities; think strategically by understanding the client's needs, their business and key risks
  • Manage team and individual budgets and performance objectives
  • Business development - identify and win new clients

Charities Audit and Accounts Manager Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA with proven charities experience
  • Experience of leading and managing an audit team
  • Track record in business development, contributing to proposal delivery
  • Experience working with software such as Microsoft, Caseware, Digita, Practice Engine, Sage, Xero
