Role Overview:

Cast UK are supporting an expanding Logistics business with the recruitment process of a Branch Manager. As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for opening a brand new Branch for the business, recruiting your own team whilst overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient processes and leading a team to achieve business objectives. You will play a key role in driving new business and excellent customer service to any existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Open, lead and manage branch operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of branch staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health & safety standards.
Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Manage budgets, control costs, and optimise resources.
Foster a positive and productive working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a managerial role within the freight industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Ability to win new business and provide excellent account management
Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and execute initiatives.
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems.

Renumeration:

£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits
