We are currently working in partnership with an Academy Trust based in Staffordshire, who are recruiting for a Payroll and Pensions Co-Ordinator on a six month contract with the possibility of extension/going permanent.

The position is due to start immediately and will require travel to the office two days per week. The hourly/daily rate is equivalent to c.£40k with room for negotiation.

The ideal candidate will have experience with LGPS, Techers Pensions and Midland HR/iTrent.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Preparing monthly payroll for c.450 employees to be sent to Midland HR
• Acting as the lead for all Teachers Pension and LGPS related queries
• Checking payroll information input by HR and schools, identifying and amending any errors
• Reconciling payroll data before sending to MHR for payment
• Resolving queries from staff regarding payroll

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
