We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Operations Manager in Warrington - working a very well establish and highly reputable client who offers their services to hundreds of thousands of properties across the UK.
Through their multiple branches our clients offers a vast range of services which include Retrofit and Energy Services, roofing, flooring, kitchen and bathroom replacements, planned and project works in painting, Passive Fire Projection, Disrepair Works, Multi-disciplinary Fabric Upgrades, and maintenance Contracts - expertly delivered through their multiple branches.
As Operations Manager your main focus will be to ensure a safe working environment for all contracts within the branch You will work closely with your Contracts Managers to establish an implement mobilisation plan for all new projects and assist them with the development of project specific.

As Operations Manager you will run programmes and establish a master resource programme for the branch and ensure the correct resources are available to allow the contracts team to deliver their projects on time, to specification and within the set budget.

You will monitor labour, subcontractors, plant and materials to ensure projects are delivered to 'the Bell Standard' and not simply the lowest standard accepted by the client.
You will manage and motivate your Contracts Managers, supervisors, foreman, site staff and subcontractors.

It is vital you ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed AND promote the values of Bell Group at all opportunities!!!!!

Responsibilities
• Experience in leading a team of contracts managers/site managers.
• Ideally with experience in Social Housing working for a contractor.
• Experience in running large projects from a delivery standpoint.
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a team
• Comfortable aiming towards targets and pushing their team to their own individual targets.
• Comfortable in compiling and presenting CVRs & commercials.
• Will be working closely with Lead QS on branch figures & project performance.
• Strong understanding of HR
• Would be willing to head up a department to manage labour, workload, projections, transport, training, Health & Safety
• Would be reporting directly to branch manager (myself)
• Will be 90% office based in Warrington but will be required to visit sites to check H&S, Works in Progress on a monthly basis.
• Wouldn't be managing any works/projects themselves.

To be successful in this role you must previously experience as an operations manager, managing labour-based activities (preferably within the construction industry). You must have Strong Leadership, Communication and teamwork Customer engagement. You will use your judgement and decision making. Employee development. Full UK driving licence
A successful Operations manager will possess good knowledge of the industry and a wide range of local contacts.

Benefits of this role
As Operations Manager your will be rewarded a competitive salary, £45,000 - £45000 based on skillset and experience plus Car allowance of 4k- 6k . 31 days holidays including public holidays which increases with length of service. You will be offered Staff Bonus Scheme - potential to earn 20% based on KPI and Branch achieving turnover target. There is paid maternity and paid paternity leave.
