RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an established SME based in Buckshaw Village, Chorley who are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. This role is with a engineering company who are a leading specialist in their field.

Supervising an accounts assistant, this Management Accountant role would be responsible for overseeing the sales and purchase ledgers and producing monthly management accounts.

Reporting to the Director, duties include:

• Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Posting of journals
• Cashflow forecasting
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledger
• Supervision of accounts assistant
• Liaise with external accountants at yearend

This Management Accountant role is ideal for someone who has experience working within a small finance team and they are happy to support study for part qualified applicants.
